About us

The Blue Rose Project was founded in loving memory of Officer Matthew Moore, a devoted father, husband, and respected member of the Keller Police Department. After nearly two decades of service, Matthew tragically passed away on January 19, 2025, losing his battle with the unseen struggles of mental health. His passing left an immeasurable void, but also a powerful call to action: to break the silence around first responder mental health and to honor those who serve both in life and in memory.

The blue rose has long symbolized the rare, the impossible, and the extraordinary. For us, it represents the resilience, sacrifice, and quiet battles that first responders carry every day. Through The Blue Rose Project, we hope to raise awareness, foster open conversations, and provide tangible support for the men and women behind the badge who often put others before themselves.

A portion of every shirt sale is donated directly to charities dedicated to first responder mental health and suicide prevention. By wearing our apparel, you’re not only remembering Officer Moore’s legacy, but also standing with countless other heroes who deserve hope, healing, and a reminder that they are not alone.

Meet the owner

My name is Abigail Moore, and I am the proud daughter of Matthew Moore, a dedicated police officer who served the Keller community for nearly 20 years. On January 19, 2025, my dad lost his battle with mental health and died by suicide. His loss has left a hole in my heart, but it has also lit a fire in me to create something meaningful in his honor.

I founded The Blue Rose Project as a tribute to my dad and to every first responder who silently carries the weight of service. Our mission is simple yet powerful: to raise awareness for mental health, honor those we’ve lost, and offer hope to those still fighting.

Through our shirts and designs, we carry forward the message:

“Roses for the Fallen. Hope for the Living.”

Every shirt tells a story of remembrance, strength, and the importance of starting conversations around first responder mental health and suicide awareness. A portion of every sale is donated to organizations dedicated to supporting first responders and their families—because no hero should ever feel alone in their battle.

This project is not just about shirts. It’s about breaking the silence, sharing hope, and creating a community that remembers, supports, and uplifts.
